Travel Alert

There is a speed bump just after kilometer 16 coming into Erendira that will damage your car! Stop and drive around it. There are seven more speed bumps before you drive through the town of Erendira.

Gas in Baja is $1.00 less per gallon than in the United States!
Save big bucks on gas by planning to fill-up in Baja Mexico! The gas is better quality than in California and $1.00 per gallon cheaper.

Erendira's new road is finished!

New USA Passport Rules.
Beginning June 1, 2009
U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry are required to have documents that comply with the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI), such as a valid passport, a U.S. passport card, a Trusted Traveler Program card such as NEXUS, SENTRI or FAST, or an enhanced driver's license.

If you forget, it may be a short wait in secondary but they will let you back in the US! Passport cards are only $55 good for 10 years and take 2-3 weeks to get. They are used for ground and sea travel to (Mexico and Canada) only.
