Lobster
Madness
From October
1st to March 31, lobster season opens in Baja California . Many local
Mexican divers and friends of Coyote Cal's Mexico Hostels arrive with
freshly caught live lobster to sell to our guests at bargain prices. (Bartering
is an accepted practice). We'll help you cook em up or barbecue them on
the kitchen deck gas grill. How's that for Mexican Hostel cuisine? Doesn't
get much better or fresher than that.
Who's on Staff?!

Making
you feel welcome is easy when you look at our staff. Coyote Cal's Mexico
Hostels staff will help you plan your hikes, point you to the Mexico
surf breaks or get you up early for that Baja fishing trip. Our famous
and free pancake & waffle breakfast is cooked up everyday around
7:30am and free rice and drinking water are in our well stocked kitchen. Free

Travel News Flash!!
New USA Passport Rules.
Starting Feburary 1, 2008 all USA citizens will need a passport, or drivers license and second ID, or proof of application of a passort to re-enter the USA by car from Mexico. If you forget, it will be a long wait in secondary.
Starting January 1, 2009 all US citizens will need a passport or Passport Card to re-enter the US by car. (Passport Cards are only $43 and good for 10 years. They are used for ground travel to Mexcio and Canada only.) Go to your local Post office for applications or visit the US Department of State web site travel.state.gov. Coyote Cals is a Holiday tradition. Make your dorm reservations
early or save money and camp to be a part of the fun! The bar is open
and the drinks are flowing at Coyote Cals Barefoot Cantina! We are now
serving 50 different Tequilas along with all your favorite mixed
drinks like Margaritas & a Tequila Sunrise! Come join us by the fire
during happy hour, 5:00pm-6:30pm, and wet your thurst.
(Note: Store bought alcohol is only allowed in
our campsite.)
Whale watching at Coyote Cals!
December
starts the California Grey Whale migration season at Coyote Cal's Mexico
Hostels. Many people have watched in awe as the California Grey Whales
blast water from their enormous lungs, up to twenty feet in the air and
then breach the water. Bring your camera, binoculars are here for some
close-ups, and join us for this fabulous show!
