If you've got salt water running through your veins and love Mexico deep sea fishing in Baja California, Then Coyote Cal's Mexico Hostels is the place to be.

Below is all the fishing information you will need to fish Erendira. Some of the companies like Castro's and Ramon's have cabins' for about $10 per day per person. You do not have to stay at their cabins to go fishing with them. Of course we would like you to stay here instead. To help you make up you mind on where to stay.

Coyote Cal's will charge $10 per person for the first night so you can see how great it is to stay here. That's 50% off! First time guest only and does not include breakfast.

Check out time is extended for fisherment to 4:30pm. That's a $5.00 savings and a great convenience.

Castro's Fishing Place

Cost is as follows:
Monday through Friday
$160.00 per boat with a four person minimum. Each person after the forth will cost an additional $40.00.
Saturday and Sunday
$200.00 per boat with a six person maximum. Each person after the fifth will cost an additional $40.00. Boats leave at 6:30am and come back at 4pm.

Gear rental is $5.00, hooks are $1 and weights are $2.

Normal tip for trip and cleaning fish is $20.00.

Boats are based on availability and can be canceled by pour weather such as high winds.

Cabin Cost:
Castor's has five cabins for six people with bunks,stove, fridge and toilet for $50 per night. They have two cabins for nine people with bunk,stove, fridge, BBQ and toilet for $60 per night. (See photo to right)

Boats seat 6 to 8 people and are equipped with radios for safety. Bait, one day Mexican fishing liicense, and Fish Cleaning are part of the boat cost. Average tip to the skipper is $5.00 per person. Boats leave harbor at 6:00am to 7:00am and return around 3:00pm. Please advise Sports Fishing offices as much as one to two weeks in advance of your intentions to avoid disappointment, this is very true duing the summer and weekends. To save your spot at Coyote Cal's Mexico Hostels, book your reservation now!

Of course there is also great shore fishing available. For $15.00 we can supply you with an official Baja fishing kit. (A Tecate beer can wrapped with a spool of fishing line, hook and lead weights.) If you love to eat fish, but would rather not catch them you can always go to the fish co-op or El Prieto Y Tonares, phone; 011-52-646-107-9563,Office:011-52-646-154-4179 (Prices are in pesos per kilo) you can buy fresh crab meat:$160 ,shrimp:$150, clams:$100, bait:$35, and fish cheap:20, Halibit:$65-$50, White Sea Bass$65:! Place at about 10am and barter for your fish. Fresh crab claws:$100/large, $55/small. The fishermen will clean and fillet it for you. All that's left for you to do is bring it on home and toss it on the BBQ and enjoy it! What ever is left can be stored in our chest freezer.
